Itinerary:

  • Meet Up
    • In front of the Plaza Hotel.
  • First stop: California Hotel for Aloha Specialties
    • Las Vegas is the 9th island of Hawaii, as we actually have the most native Hawaiians outside of Hawaii. Mention the discounts Hawaiians get and more fun facts about Hawaii.
  • Pass by stop: Golden Nugget
    • Has Chihuly art pieces that are also inside of the Bellagio. Chihuly is one of the top glass artists, and his works are featured in a majority of Wynn casinos/hotels. Also, the world's largest golden nugget is here, found in Victoria, Australia, at a whopping 65 lbs. It was also previously Frank Sinatra’s favorite casino, even after everything moved down to the Strip. Their pool was featured and built by “Tanked.”
  • Bathroom break.
  • Back-Up Spot:
    • Another option is the Binions Hotel instead of the Golden Nugget. Work with your crowd. If they’re more interested in Mob history, the Binions was originally the Mint and Hotel Apache (the Golden Nugget was built by Guy McAfee and also has mob history, but the Binions has A LOT of mob history). Benny Binion purchased the hotels after going on the run from the local police department in Dallas, Texas. Becoming the biggest crime lord Texas had seen at the age of 18. Engaging in racketeering, bootlegging, and murder. Eventually, building Binion into what it is today, which also happens to be the World Series Poker birthplace.
  • Pass By Spot
    • While passing Mob Museum, mention how it was originally a post office and a federal courthouse. Talk about Oscar Goodman as before he was mayor, he was a mafia lawyer and also talk about the founding of the Mob museum itself.
  • Second Stop: Tacos and Miches:
    • A favorite among the locals, mention this hole in the wall and what they’re known for. Eating Birria Ramen and Tacos here, mention the starting place of Birria and how they’ve changed it to make it their own. (ADD MORE FACTS)
  • Third Stop: Le Thai/Thai Bangkok
    • One of the most popular local restaurants among the people in Fremont. Bangkok Thai goes about Thai food in a different manner. Emphasizing Thai flavors while also experimenting with an American fusion. Mention how Thailand decided that they wanted to dominate in a tourist niche and decided to train chefs to send all over the world. Mention Indian influence in Thai cuisine.
  • Last Stop: Container Park - Bin 702, Mob Pizza, and Pinches Tacos are in the Container Park.
    • 42 shipping containers turned into start-ups and local shops. Top-rated whiskey bar and 2nd highest-rated in the United States, Oak, and Ivy, is also inside. Every 2 weeks is Second Sunday, where they bring local artists in to sell their products. Give guests a chance to explore the container park before the final stop. We can end at the container park or walk down to Fergusons if they want more history.
  • End: Fergusons
    • A motel that was gutted and turned into a shopping center. Part of Tony Hsieh’s project was to revitalize downtown after he moved his company, Zappos, to Las Vegas. Tony passed away in 2020 after selling his company to Amazon and died in a tragic house fire (they found LSD in his system).
  • Once the tour has ended, the tour guide asks for reviews tactfully and sends an email featuring the commemorative photo taken at the final stop and on tour, as well as links to leave a review.
